New waves of scam text messages
We are seeing new waves of scam text messages impersonating Fr. Rico. They follow the same pattern. They come from unknown numbers. They start with casual greetings like “Are you free at the moment?” or “I have a quick favor to ask.” They try to build urgency before eventually asking for money, gift cards, or personal details.
